Who will be a good opponent for Felix Trinidad when he makes yet another comeback on 2009?
Felix Trinidad chose to comeback after his loss to Jones Jr. Who can he fight in the Middleweight division? Who can be a excellent matchup?

Oscar De La Hoya!
Oscar beat him in the first fight and Mexicans would buy the pay per view in high numbers to see Oscar avenge the B.S. choice(8 rounds to 4 for Oscar). Puerto Ricans despise that their largest stars always seem to lose to Mexicans and would pay in the hopes Felix would get a legitimate win.

Vernon Forrest. Forrest showed that he still has some fight left and he has a name huge enough that the public would be interested in that fight. Forrest would defenitely go up to 160 for a crack at Tito, who probably wouldn’t come down to ‘54. That’s why Tito and Oscar probably will never fight a rematch because Tito refused to fight Oscar at ‘54. He wanted the fight at 160. Oscar refused, so it didn’t happen, but Vernon would gladly go up for a shot at Trinidad. Vernon wants the huge fights now because he’s 37 and fight too much longer. I reckon a Trinidad-Forrest fight would be a excellent fight.

@Flying High You Rick Rolled us man. LMAO
I reckon a excellent comeback opponent for Felix Trinidad would be someone that nobody has heard of just a simple Journeyman fighter. Felix needs some time to get his timing and polish up before he starts going straight for the top.

The only person he should or might come back to fight is DeLaHoya, if not as a fan of Felix, he should quit.

i agree with bignormen. He needs to come back and fight a couple fights to get his timing and polish back. Then he could get back in the mix. He could fight De la hoya, but i just reckon this time around de la hoya would dismantle him like he kind of did in the first, but what killed de la hoya was that he ran alot at the end of the fight. This time it would be different. He could fight forest which might be a excellent fight or pacquiao just because tito is larger then him, but i really don’t see anyone else that he could fight that would be excellent. The problem with tito is that he gets hit with the jab alot and that was his downfall in the last 2 fights he fought. he gets hit with the jab and he has to set his feet to throw a punch. so if someone throws the jab alot that throws his gameplan all to hell.

First off i hope that Trindad dedicates himself to a couple fights if he does fight in 2009.Not one every couple years. Tito was a fantastic fighter and i would despise to see him come in at the weigh in all flaby like he did against Jones Jr.
i reckon the best option would be fighting at 160 lbs. against someone like John Duddy (25-0) who is still a prospect but has a huge following in New York. Where they can fight in MSG or Atlantic City. Possibly during the Puerto Rican Day Parade on the under card of Cotto-Margarito 2.
Another option could be Sergio Mora a notable name, former champ, with not a lot of punching power would be a excellent fight to come back to.
Also, Felix Sturm the WBA middle weight champ. Most known for his close choice against De La Hoya who many argue he won could also be a excellent first fight option.
These are all excellent setup fights to give Trinidad a higher likely hood of winning a fight to gain momentum against someone like Oscar De La Hoya, Vernon Forrest, Bernard Hopkins or possibly even Shane Mosley.
Other options i like are at 168 vs.
Allan Green ,Jeff Lacy or Carl Froch to setup a fight with Joe Calzague. Which could be a fight Calzague want to take being that he’s on a legends past their primes tour.

Well, if De la Hoya keeps fighting, they might have a rematch 10 years later.
I want to see Trinidad fight Miguel Cotto or Antonio Margarito, provided they can agree upon a weight to fight.
